Tanya Vlacancich, DDS, PC
Dr. Tanya Vlacancich is proud to provide high quality dental care to our patients in College Point, New York, and the surrounding areas. A graduate of New York University, she is a member of the American Dental Society and Queens County Dental Society as well as the New York State Dental Association. She is known by her peers and her patients as being extremely friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her work.
Her vision of dentistry is centered upon providing comprehensive care that meets all of a patient’s oral health needs. Growing up in College Point, she pursued her dreams by opening a family dental practice in the town she loves. Dr. Vlacancich speaks Italian fluently, which is a great asset for her many Italian patients. She has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses to stay abreast of the very latest dentistry advances, and her office is state-of-the-art with a personal family touch.
Dr. Vlacancich has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She lives with her husband, an endodontist, and three wonderful sons in the community she serves. Proud to engage in community service, she partakes in many volunteer activities in local schools and in her neighborhood.

Bianca – Dental Hygienist
Bianca was born and raised in the Bronx. She graduated from New York College of Technology in 2014. Bianca has been with us since 2016 and is a talented clinician who takes great pride in her patients.
Bhagandai (“Pamela”) – Dental Hygienist
Pamela received her degree in dental hygiene from New York City of Technology, Brooklyn, New York, in 2006. Pamela has been with us since 2017. She enjoys helping her patients feel relaxed and providing them with important preventive care information. She also carries a certification in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Maura – Office Manager
Maura has been with our team since our office opened in 1997 and was previously a licensed optician. She ensures that our office flows smoothly, managing complex cases and handling insurances and payments. Maura enjoys working with such a wonderful team, welcoming back old patients and getting to know new ones. She lives and breathes for this office and for her daughter, Dr. Vlacancich.
Tiana – Administrative Assistant and Dental Assistant
Tiana is the friendly voice behind the phones, but you might find her assisting the doctor or helping out with X-rays on occasion. Tiana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College and has been part of our team off and on for over 12 years. She has great experience as a dental assistant, as well as in the administrative side of the practice, and always does her best to ensure that our patients are well cared for. As a wife and mother of three, she finds comfort in chaos and in juggling the daily tasks of our office to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Tiana enjoys that she not only works with family, but that the rest of our team and our patients are so amazing that they feel like family.
Dawn – Dental Assistant
Dawn has been with our team since 2000, assisting Dr. Tanya in the operatories and helping to make our patients’ time with us as pleasant as possible. Dawn is always ready to hold the hand of a nervous patient and make sure that they feel comfortable. She loves being part of a practice that is family oriented. Dawn grew up in College Point and still lives in the area with her husband, daughter and son. She is an animal lover and has an adorable dog and a rescue kitty.
